Glass for Water Transport

Magistral company manufactures glass laminates for sidelights of surface vessels of all types. Glass units are mostly equipped with innovative electrical heating system protecting glass surface from icing in hard low-temperature environmental conditions.

Our products are intended for glazing of the pilot houses of the towboats, crafts, polytonnage vessels etc. to provide visual oversight in low-temperature and ice formation conditions.

Heated glasses for sea crafts provide high visibility; keep viewing zone clear from fogging and icing. Glass units are equipped with 12, 24, 36, 110, 127 or 220 V electrical heating system.

Magistral company developed unique technologies allow to realize wireless heating of the ballistic or laminated glass. In the past heating of the glass units responsible for de-fogging or de-icing was usually realized by implantation of the thin electro conductive fibers between the glass layers of the glass laminate. Developed by Magistral company technology of the wireless electrical heating allows one to heat the glass uniformly with no fibers installation into the glass unit. Better visibility is the main advantage of this technology application.

In case of need Magistral company may manufacture glazing made of tempered and/or laminated non-spall glass according to custom-designed orders for the pleasure yachts, hovercrafts etc.

BR7NS glasses 62 mm thick
In November 2020 Magistral LTD successfully finished ballistic tests and certification of bullet resistant glass with thickness of 62 mm according to BR7NS protection level which is 5–15 mm less than most of the variants available on the market.
